The brains trust got together to review his recovery and the decision was made for the quick back up which on reflection made them look like geniuses.
Clayton Gallagher had NOTABADIDEA snuggled up throughout on the rail and when the experienced galloper was produced, he let rip with a superior finish.
It was the Coonamble boys of Lundholm & Lane fighting out the finish but the young fella with the cheeky grin got one over the trainer from the bright lights.
